Check out the (Education) Reform Library from The Foundation for Excellence in Education

An inspiring trove of resources focused on transforming education.

In the education press this week I came across mention of Digital Learning Now, “a national campaign to advance policies that will create a high quality digital learning environment to better prepare students with the knowledge and skills to succeed in college and careers” initiated by former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and Bob Wise, former Governor of West Virginia.

This reminded me of Jeb Bush's excellent Foundation for Excellence for Education (I wrote this brief post about Gov Bush and the foundation last year). I stopped by the Foundation web site and came across a “Reform Library” page, with these subsections providing “resources … and information on all things education reform”:

There's some great stuff here. If Education Reform is an interest or passion of yours, you'll be sure to enjoy digitally “thumbing through”  these resources!

I certainly hope these gentlemen can make a success of their intentions, and in the meanwhile their efforts to define and petition for specific goals is, at minimum, a great addition to the discussion (and momentum) of changes to the education system that can truly make a difference.
