This can be a Great Project for Science, Math, Art, Technology Classes and More
This is just so cool. My son Ian made one of these a while back and I've been meaning to share it here. I didn't end up with good video of his, but there are plenty of them out there on the ‘Tube.
Watch how easy it is to turn a CD case and your smartphone into a holographic image projector! This video is from HooplaKids Lab.
Here are some good videos to use for your projected images:
- 3d Hologram Videos Playlist
- Frozen Elsa – Pyramid Hologram Holographic
- Hummingbird SloMo – Pyramid Hologram
And here's another variation on this idea:
If you do this with your students, please let us know how it works out. Have you already tried it? How'd it go? Have any great videos to share that made cool 3d projections? We hope you'll take a moment to share in a comment. Thanks!
Wikipedia weighs in (diff meaning for trapezium, a.k.a. trapezoid, in US/Canada vs rest of world): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trapezium
the first vid said “rhumbus”…..if my maths are’nt as bad ad i think they are then it should be a trapezium
