Overview
This full day workshop will provide a practical learning experience for all educators wishing to develop a plan to incorporate flipped teaching and learning techniques into their classes and courses. Those who have started working with flipped classroom techniques who wish to learn more and develop their plans will also benefit from this workshop.
Educators working in all grade levels and subject areas are welcomed and encouraged to attend! Trainer Kelly Walsh has provided flipped classroom professional development to hundreds of teachers and other education professionals in Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, Undergrad and Graduate Higher Ed and Professional Trainers (check out the testimonials on the registration page to learn more!).
This professional development workshop will incorporate flipped instruction techniques – you will be expected to watch a brief a video beforehand and discuss observations and questions with other participants online before attending. Additionally, practical hands-on exercises will provide active learning experiences and help to reinforce techniques and content being covered (bring your laptops or tablets!).
A free copy of the Flipped Classroom Workshop-in-a-Book eBook will also be provided to all participants as a resource for further learning and exploration.
