With the giving time of the year upon us, this is a great time to share these sites that teachers across the world are increasingly using to ask for and receive donations to equip their classrooms!

Sites and organizations like these make it easy for teachers to get connected with donations and gifts for the classroom. We all know how tight budgets are these days, so every little bit helps. Thousands of teachers and schools have received millions of dollars in assistance and supplies for their classroom through these sites.

Whether they have run out this year or saving for next year, supplies are always a need for teachers. Consider your student’s grade when buying supplies. Thanks Carol – it looks liek Treasures4Teachers.org is the one site of those listed here that accepts miscellaneous donated goods (the other sites generally work off of wish lists or accept financial donations). If you visit Treasures4Teachers.org, look for the Donate Goods button in the upper right hand corner.

  7. I have thirty years of teaching materials ranging from pre-school through 5th grade. This includes reading books, teacher resources, bulletin board material, games, and much more. It is all in excellent condition. I would love to donate it where it could be used and loved by teachers and children alike.
    I live near Houston, TX. Do you know of anywhere that I would be able for donate this items?
