Brief survey aims to uncover which Internet tools educators are considering for the classroom
Last week's midweek update sent readers to a survey to answer this question, but response has been slow (didn't get it out there until Thurs eve, which surely didn't help). So, I am asking again if readers would be so kind as to click here and check off any technologies they are hoping to start using this year in the instructional process. The second questions asks, “How do you envision these technologies helping to improve learning outcomes”. Thanks in advance for your input. Responses will be summarized and shared, and should provide some interesting insight into the intentions of your peers, and their thoughts on how these tools can make an impact.
Thanks again, and I hope everyone has a productive start to this new school year!
This survey was helpful to me in reviewing all the options and helping me to be intentional in adding new tools.
I am very eager to see what other instructors say. Then I hope that the blog will examine some of these tools in detail. For example, I would like some guidance on tutoring resources on the web and on YouTube. Sometimes it takes me a while to search and select. Recommendations streamline the process a little bit.
Thanks for your ongoing posts!
