Nicholas Combs is a second grade teacher at Thales Academy North Raleigh. He obtained his Elementary Education Bachelor’s Degree and Curriculum Specialist Master’s Degree from Appalachian State University. Over the last few years, he has worked with students in Pre-K through 8th grade, in a special education classroom for severe autism non-verbal students, and has assisted as a behavioral specialist. Prior to coming to Raleigh, he worked as a 2nd grade teacher at a title one school in Burlington, NC with an EC and ESL population. Since 2010, he has integrated iPad technology in classrooms with 1 to 1 integration, school wide cart integration, and a single iPad classroom. In Tennessee, he facilitated district level iPad integration. He has also worked as a technology consultant for conferences across the east coast and mid-west.
