This new collaboration offers students and educators an opportunity to have an impact and learn in the process.
Today Microsoft “Partners in Learning“ announced a strategic partnership with the Smithsonian and TakingITGlobal, called “Shout”. According to their website, www.shoutlearning.com, “Shout invites educators and students to take an active role in global environmental issues.”
Starting next week, the Shout program will issue a new challenge every two months to students and educators everywhere through a Webcast. Students can connect through the website with experts in the field and collaborate with people around the world committed to solving environmental challenges.
I love this kind of thing – it really shows the power of the Internet and offers a great chance for students and educators to share an impactful, global experience. Click on through to the website to learn more.
