With all the buzz about Twitter these days, I figured I should look into what was going on with the potential uses of this microblogging application in the Educational arena. I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised by the extent of web articles and postings about this topic. • In this 2 and half minute video posting, a professor at the University of Texas at Dallas, David Parry, discusses how he uses Twitter in an introductory course on computer media communication. Solid insight into a real life use of the application in an educational setting:

• Twitter’s page about using Twitter in Education: There is a good amount of information accessible via the links on this page, but it takes some digging, as it is just a collection of links (with limited insight into their content).
