5th Annual Classroom Makeover Video Contest from eInstruction.

Students across the globe can submit music videos between now and Oct. 21 for a chance to win a valuable bundle of educational technology for their school. The videos must demonstrate how technology could be used to enhance their learning experience in the classroom. Last year’s contest drew over 29,00 voters!

The contest is open to students in the U.S., Canada (excluding Quebec), South Africa, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Puerto Rico.

This year’s contest is bigger than ever, and eInstruction, with partners such as Dell and several other educational technology companies will award more than $170,000 worth of technology in total (click here to learn more about the equipment to be awarded).

On November 9, five finalists in each grade category (the categories are: grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12) will be selected and voting will start, wrapping up on December 5. One grand prize winner for each grade category will be announced on or around December 12, 2011. The official contest website is: http://2011classroommakeover.com. Contest entries must be submitted by no later than October 21st.

So get involved, get creative with your own video, take a shot at winning, and have some fun in the process!
