Thanks for the question "Banks205". I come across many articles about the use of Internet technologies in the lower grade levels - online interactive whiteboards, videos (from safe sites like TeacherTube), blogs, and more. One technology that can provide a fun start is online games - this post provides examples of a number of such sites. Good luck with your education and career, stop back often to keep abreast of various Ed Tech tools and ideas!

I really appreciated your thoughts on using technology in the classroom. I am currently attending Grand Valley State University pursuing elementary education and I am curious of what you would suggest for incorporating technology on the lower grade levels.

Personally, I don't like relying on technology; but I also think that children should have the opportunity to learn using a multitude of stimulus. I would hope that teachers use technology to take their lesson plans to the next level of excellence rather than use them to simplify their jobs. With powerpoint presentations have become overused and boring, I hope to find new and innovative ways to teach while also incorporating technology.
