[...] A big area of research and development right now is with natural user interface – speech and gestures as part of the User Interface. Pixels in screens are becoming motion aware, avatars will be reflecting your facial expressions, and more (this sounds like a natural extension of the technology shown in the “Project Natal” demo we looked at in this post).
Hello again, Michael. Thanks for the link - your work with Innovative Technology for Autism sounds like great stuff! Unfortunately, I have no involvement with Project Natal, but could suggest attempting to communicate with Lionhead Studios to pursue your question - this link: http://community.lionhead.com/forums/82/ShowForum.aspx will take you directly to their forum about Milo, perhaps posting there may lead to some constructive dialogue. Here on EmergingEdTech.com, I will be researching the use of Internet tools for special education in the near future. I look forward to hearing more about your efforts as they progress!

I've posted a link to your video on Innovative Technology for Autism, started by Katharina Boser of Autism Speaks. The group is mainly populated with researchers from MIT, UC, Georgia who have come up with some wonderful technology which we would like to see adapted to the needs of the autism community. I was invited to the site to help spread the word.
There is a terrific synergy between their work and Project Natal. How could I become more involved in project to utilize your technology to serve the autism community?
