Hi Anne -

I love to blog about great stories like yours - you're a great example of impactful uses of tech in the classroom.

I agree wholeheartedly that "the power of blogging is really still untapped", and I'm glad to play an ongoing part, along with educators like yourself, at tapping further into it :).

Hello Kelly and thank you for mentioning my blog. It has taken me and my students on an amazing journey, from a small isolated country school to the centre of the globe. After 2 1/2 years I am still passionate about blogging. Time sometimes gets in the way, but my students are encouraged to blog as much as possible and develop their blogs into digital portfolios.
Another great use of blogs which I am trying to work harder at, is the use of comments for reflective purposes. I ask my students to comment back on my blog post to let me know what they completed, how they felt they went, what they did not understand and what they still need to do. The power of blogging is really still untapped.

[...] Last week we examined how blogs are being used in the classroom as a part of the instructional process. This week I am going to inform you about a great list of education related blogs, and provide examples of some of these. I will also provide some insight into subscribing to blogs (for those who might not be familiar with the process) and links to a couple popular tools for educational blogging.
